Inauguration of the Prehistosite of the Museum of Prehistory of the Gorges du Verdon!
On Friday 8 April 2022, the Prehistoric site of des gorges du Verdon, the new prehistoric village in Quinson, was officially inaugurated. Five habitats and a dolmen have been reconstructed life-size: a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in prehistory and discover construction techniques that have stood the test of time.
To celebrate the opening, on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April 2022, the village welcomed the general public with free workshops and activities: from a demonstration of dry stone construction by a craftsman to archery and shooting activities held in the park’s shooting range.
